EN RESUMENLa Liga aparece。 Mirio busca alcanzar a Chisaki y Eri。ASPECTOS POSITIVOS- TWICE Y TOGA。 SIEMPRE TWICE Y TOGA。 Una dupla muy singular: el que tiene síndrome de personalidad múltiple + una yandere。 ¿Qué podría salir mal？ AMO que Horikoshi les dedique tanto tiempo a los miembros de la Liga。 Los hace más humanos e interesantes。 （view spoiler）[La escena flashback entre Toga y Twice y Chisaki es clave: ambos pueden sacrificar información sobre sus dones， pero le son leales a Shigaraki。 Por f EN RESUMENLa Liga aparece。 Mirio busca alcanzar a Chisaki y Eri。ASPECTOS POSITIVOS- TWICE Y TOGA。 SIEMPRE TWICE Y TOGA。 Una dupla muy singular: el que tiene síndrome de personalidad múltiple + una yandere。 ¿Qué podría salir mal？ AMO que Horikoshi les dedique tanto tiempo a los miembros de la Liga。 Los hace más humanos e interesantes。 （view spoiler）[La escena flashback entre Toga y Twice y Chisaki es clave: ambos pueden sacrificar información sobre sus dones， pero le son leales a Shigaraki。 Por fin tenemos "el poder de la amistad" aplicado a los villanos。 Además tenerlos en contra de Chisaki y su banda les da la oportunidad de "aliarse" con los héroes， lo que trae más impredecibilidad al arco。 （hide spoiler）] - Mirio。 Este es su tomo。 Su momento para probarse como héroe。 Su tenacidad y su fuerza es admirable。 Desde el primer momento entendés porque Sir quería a Mirio como el sucesor del One For All， porque él y Deku congenian tan bien。 Su pelea con Chisaki fue increíble y emocionante。 La escena en la que la culpa de no haber salvado a Eri lo atrapa y la desesperación con la que actúa te llegan por completo。 - Chisaki。 Un muuuuuy buen villano。 Me encanta su diseño， su don y su historia。 Sus motivaciones le dan más respaldo a sus acciones （por muy repulsivas que estas sean）。 Me encanta que， al contrario del hombre-niño que es Shigaraki， el tipo tiene un plan。 No quiere solo destruir el mundo。 （view spoiler）[Y me encanta ese paralelismo que se instaura entre él y sus empleados: todos se desviven por Chisaki， porque los salvó y les devolvió una esperanza a los yakuza， pero Chisaki también es igual a ellos， solo que con su jefe。 （hide spoiler）] - El dibujo。 Horikoshi se lució en este tomo。 （view spoiler）[La pelea Mirio vs Chisaki， ese momento en el que Mirio pierde su don （la sonrisa que le dedica a Eri， toda esa página de flashbacks con Mirio aprendiendo a manejar su don seguida de una página en negro）， la evolución monstruosa de Chisaki， la aparición de Deku， ese paralelismo con las manos que intentan atrapar a Eri con Deku y Chisaki。 Todo fue perfecto y épico。 （hide spoiler）] Los diseños de personajes de MHA son muy únicos y Horikoshi se encarga de que no les falte emoción （para tener un diseño tan sencillo， Mirio trasmitió absolutamente todo en este tomo）。- Si el tomo anterior fue predecible， el volumen 17 se caracterizó por ser lo contrario， especialmente hacia el final。 （view spoiler）[Desde la participación de Toga y Twice hasta el descubrimiento del don de Eri （poder que se puede convertir en un arma de doble filo， tanto para los personajes como para el mismo autor。 Horikoshi va a tener que ser muy cuidadoso con este tipo de don si no quiere perder tensión en las batallas）。 （hide spoiler）] ASPECTOS NEGATIVOS- No fui muy fan de la narración。 Cayó mucho en el tell， not show。 De por si no me molesta si se usa narración para contar hechos porque querés resumir un arco， o cuando se necesita explicar algún aspecto del sistema de magia o mundo。 Pero cuando te paras a contarme emociones como que me perdes un poco。 Demon Slayer hizo eso también。 La narración es innecesaria porque la imagen misma ya me lo está diciendo todo。 No necesitaba saber cómo se sentía Eri o por qué ponía esas caras， cuando el diálogo con Chisaki y sus obvias heridas me dicen lo suficiente。 - （view spoiler）[Al final Sir Nighteye era mucho ruido y pocas nueces。 Esperaba un poco más de su personaje。Y hablemos del desperdicio que terminaron siendo las mujeres en este arco。 Horikoshi， hermano， si le vas a dar tanto espacio a Kirishima， mínimo Ochako y Tsuyu se merecían lo mismo。 Por lo menos unas hojas dame。 Y que me quieras vender que Nejiro， quién no apareció hasta el último momento y cuyo don es de lo más simplón， está a la altura de Tamaki y Mirio es un chiste。 （hide spoiler）] CONCLUSIÓNA pesar de mis quejas personales， creo firmemente que este volumen es increíblemente sólido en todo lo que se propone。 Mirio brilló como nunca y Chisaki se instaló como un gran villano。 Hay gran emoción en los diálogos y en el dibujo。 Ahora solo falta saber como concluye todo。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 My dumbass finished this hours ago but took a nap right after so I forgot to mark it as read。 I also forgot which scenes were the last volume and which ones were in this so whoops this is about to be a mess。Before getting to any part of the big fight against Overhaul I'm mention some things that happened right before like Rocklock， Night Eye， and The League of Villians。 I still don't care much for Night Eye but God damn， that fucking kick against Rappa was so fricken good。 Also ripping Twice mas My dumbass finished this hours ago but took a nap right after so I forgot to mark it as read。 I also forgot which scenes were the last volume and which ones were in this so whoops this is about to be a mess。Before getting to any part of the big fight against Overhaul I'm mention some things that happened right before like Rocklock， Night Eye， and The League of Villians。 I still don't care much for Night Eye but God damn， that fucking kick against Rappa was so fricken good。 Also ripping Twice mask， I thought this weirdly proportionate dude had like no physical skill so I was a little shocked （though I probably shouldn't have because he's still a hero）。 A bit of a quick skip to the end so I dont have to mention Night Eye again when I get to it but that part where he embraces Eri and Mirio to protect them while everyone else fights， I 🥺。 He even got stabbed to basically death for these kids。My thing for Rocklock is super short but my respect for this man went up。 In the meeting I understand that he was trying to convey that literal kids should not be brought into this mission （you know the whole thing with turning kids into soliders） but he was just rude when saying it。When he's injured we get a little bit of inner monolog where he says "At the end of the day， U。A doesn't mean squat。 A kids still a kid。 So I had my concerns about em" like fucckkkk how can u not respect this man after this。 It's so rare to find an adult in these shows that wants kids to just be kids （I can literally only think over Nanami from Jujutsu Kaisen as another adult）。Quickly onto the League of Villians because some things I really loved and other things made me very uncomfortable。 So the whole friendship duo between Twice and Toga is cute until it becomes that gross Twice has a crush， like why。 It feels like such a sibling dynamic and then this crush thing feels so thrown in and its very creepy with the fact that she's a kid。 I really like Twice as a character so this makes him start to feel icky to me。 Anyways on a good note， what chaotic bitches those three were。 The fact that they disguised themselves as deku to lure the rest of the group to destroy Overhaul was great。Now to the major fight resulting in some lowkey bad emotions。 That fact that Crono （I think it was that bitch） knew to shoot at Eri to take away Mirios power。 I wish that mirio losing his power wasn't spoiled to me because I didn't feel as emotional as I wanted to。 Lastly because I don't feel like typing anymore， seeing the girls show up after the League told them where to go makes me so happy。 It's annoying to see that literally no one inside is a girl， it's all the main guys who get all the credit so seeing the girls show up to finally join the main fight really makes me excited and happy。I feel like some bad shits gonna happen to Aizawa and I'm not ready for it。 。。。more

Rating: 4。5/5 starsThe mission to rescue Eri continues， and Mirio takes centre stage as he goes on ahead of the group and faces Overhaul and his henchmen himself。In this volume， we learn a lot more about one of the members of the Big Three at U。A。 We gain an insight into young Mirio and how he got to where he is today。 He's a genuinely good person， the perfect hero with a heart of gold and a fearless attitude who's worked really hard to get to where he is。 You just have to admire him。As well as Rating: 4。5/5 starsThe mission to rescue Eri continues， and Mirio takes centre stage as he goes on ahead of the group and faces Overhaul and his henchmen himself。In this volume， we learn a lot more about one of the members of the Big Three at U。A。 We gain an insight into young Mirio and how he got to where he is today。 He's a genuinely good person， the perfect hero with a heart of gold and a fearless attitude who's worked really hard to get to where he is。 You just have to admire him。As well as continuing the rescue mission， we learn how dark and cruel Overhaul is and what he's been doing to poor Eri。 It's actually very sickening and sadistic， especially when it's being done to a child。 He's brainwashed the girl into thinking that any move she makes independently that's not following his orders will have grave consequences， and when people get hurt its her fault。 She's full of guilt and pain， and you just want to reach into the page and cuddle her。 She's so traumatised and broken down by Overhaul， and it's painful to see。 He's put her through both mental and physical torture for his villainous plans。Speaking of Overhaul， we also get a look into his backstory and how he becomes the leader of the Shie Hassaikai and how he gains such loyal followers in amongst those who fear him。 He's troubled， even as a child， and he gives off this uneasy vibe where you know something's just not right with him upstairs and he's cold and sadistic enough to act upon his urges。Without getting too into spoiler territory， something happens in this volume which is utterly heart-breaking。 A character who's worked so hard on being the best they can be， protecting others and putting them first， without a bad bone in their body， gets everything taken from them。 It couldn't have happened to a nicer person and it's so painful。 It stabs you right in the feels。 As usual， the League of Villains lurk in the shadows， but as we know they've 'joined forces' with the Shie Hassaikai。 They have the same goal as the heroes - to take down Overhaul。 Although they want to do it in an attempt to avenge Magne and Mr。 Compress' arm。 In an odd turn of events， they end up helping one another in a way to ensure their common enemy is defeated， which was fun to see。The volume ends in an epic face off between Overhaul and the heroes， where the odds are against them all， and little Eri becomes a central piece as her Quirk is revealed。My Blog 。。。more

Después de 2 años sin leer BNHA， me complace mucho regresar a esos conocidos personajes， lástima que fue en un volumen como este; recuerdo que en su momento me hice spoiler sobre Mirio pero ver a Night Eye de esa manera fue más duro。 A pesar que necesitaré un tiempo para recordar por completo la situación de los héroes en la que me quedé hace años， espero poder ponerme al corriente con esta historia。
